When is the best time to visit Egypt: seasons, weather and prices by month
Egypt has a year-round season, but every month is different. Which month to choose depending on budget, weather and crowds.

Egypt's main advantage is that there is no bad time — only different trade-offs between weather, price and crowds.
October – November: the sweet spot
Air +28…+32 °C, sea +26 °C, less wind. September's heat is over, winter prices haven't started yet. Our advice for most people is exactly this period.
December – February: escaping winter
+22…+25 °C by day, sea +22 °C, you'll need a jacket in the evening. Sharm is warmer than Hurghada (less wind). New Year week is the most expensive — book in October.
March – May: spring
+26…+33 °C, the sea warms up to +24. April is ideal: fewer people, moderate prices. By late May it's already hot.
June – September: the cheapest
+35…+40 °C in the shade, but the air is dry and the sea is +28 °C. Prices are 30–40% lower. Good if heat doesn't bother you and you spend the day by the pool.
Price dynamics
- Most expensive: 25 December – 10 January, Easter week
- Cheapest: June, first half of September, late November
- Best balance: October, April
Book 6–8 weeks ahead — charter seats and good hotels sell out fast.
